GOALS

Art on the Peninsula works to:

  • Strengthen organizational and communications infrastructure to better support North Portland artists.
  • Become an active conduit for North Portland artists to network with other artists and the community.
  • Seek grant, exhibition and professional development opportunities on behalf of members.
  • Expand and maintain an active database of North Portland artists and increase their visibility through the Art on the Peninsula website and media channels.
  • Provide collaboration opportunities for a select number of artists each year to help realize larger-scale projects than might otherwise be possible.
  • Provide classes, workshops and salons, at low or no cost, to help artists increase professionalism, business skills, and elevate careers.
  • Build relationships with other organizations to increase creative, professional and fiscal possibilities.
